Our son. Our brother. Our friend. Nolan James Sheehan, 28, died on January 10, 2021 from Non-Covid complications with Type 1 diabetes. He was born on May 5, 1992 in Redmond, Washington. He was the fourth and youngest son of John J Sheehan, III and Cynthia Cruzen. His big brothers always considered him as their personal treasure.

SFC Aaron A. Grider from Illinois, served with A Company 1st Ranger Battalion -

 

Sgt. 1st Class Ronald A. "Aaron" Grider died Saturday on his 30th birthday after being hit by machine gun fire during combat in the Kunduz province of Afghanistan, officials with the U.S. Department of Defense said.
His is a story of unbelievable courage, bravery, and dedication. It was his ninth military deployment overseas. He went seven times to Iraq and twice to Afghanistan.

SSG Gilbert Horn Sr. from Montana, served with -

 

In 1943, Horn volunteered for assignment with “Merrill’s Marauders,” a deep penetration unit under the command of Maj. Gen. Frank Merrill. During five months of field operations in Burma and western China, Merrill’s Marauders completed an 800-mile trek across the Himalaya Mountains on a mission to cut Japanese communications and supply lines ahead of a planned joint U.S./China attack.

SPC Lance Richard Lobenthal from Ohio, served with B Company 3rd Ranger Battalion -

 

Ranger Lobenthal served in B Co. 3/75 Rangers and was part of the Ranger force that jumped into Panama during Operation Just Cause, DEC 1989. He is sorely missed by his fellow Ranger and his family.
