I remember CPL Ryan and his smile that never left his face during his last deployment to Iraq and before he leaves us forever, he had a genuinely motivated and heroic spirit, which impacted most of us every day, we really miss him from the bottom of our hearts and he will never be forgotten.

I carry a Gold Star coin given me by Ranger McGhee's mom every day. It's a constant reminder of the sacrifice and service of men like Ryan. It's my loss that I never knew him personally, but I'm glad we can help remember his legacy. RLTW
