Ranger Tom, thank you for your service and sacrifice. Rest Easy, we have the home front, stay strong, until Valhalla. Prayers and blessing for Peace and Comfort for your family. I remember [censored] like 10 copies of your first book to hand out to service Men and Women traveling thru Atlanta. Thanks again for your service

I'm not sure many are aware not only was Tom Greer a Rangers Ranger, a SOF leader , a gifted writer but a professor ... I had the privilege of taking classes from him and Steve Greer Pray For Tom , as part of AMU's Spec Ops- LIC concentration program in 07-08 ... it was the first time I really ever enjoyed academia .. to be taught by these two well respected brothers in our community was exhilarating .. They inspired me to be excited about sitting down to do the work and read his notes and critiques. I wrote my final on the Burma Campaign and Merrills Marauders .. 20 pages I had yearned to write for years for someone who might actually read it or have a shared passion and interest .. Tom was always encouraging and made himself available to answer questions or just wax philosophic about our community .. I think he was also partial as a fellow 1/75 guy. As he did on the battlefield with fellow rangers and operators he absolutely got the best out of me. That paper is my finest work and i am immensely proud of it years later ... I remember after receiving my grade I asked him what he thought about having some SGT attempt to have his paper published in Infantry Magazine .. he said why the hell not !! I never did and now wish I had .. he had faith in my work .. Thank you for that Sir...
