Our brother Bill Watson recently passed away, taken from us way too young by the ravages of brain cancer. Everyone that knew Bill remembers his sense of humor, his can do attitude, and his dogged determination to complete the Mission.

SFC Aaron A. Grider from Illinois, served with A Company 1st Ranger Battalion -

 

Sgt. 1st Class Ronald A. "Aaron" Grider died Saturday on his 30th birthday after being hit by machine gun fire during combat in the Kunduz province of Afghanistan, officials with the U.S. Department of Defense said.
His is a story of unbelievable courage, bravery, and dedication. It was his ninth military deployment overseas. He went seven times to Iraq and twice to Afghanistan.

LTG David E Grange from New York, served with ARVN_Ranger_Unit -

 

Starting as an enlisted man in WWII, and rising to the rank of LT General, he was the only general officer to be awarded honorary Sergeant Major of the Army. In 41 years of of service to the US Army, he loved his Rangers and was the main force behind the inception of the Best Ranger Competition. He was a legend among Ranger and will be forever remembered as a great leader of men.

SGT Michael R. Hullender from New Jersey, served with 3rd Ranger Battalion -

 

On April 28, 2007 in Iskandariyah, Iraq an IED detonated near SGT Hullender’s unit while on a combat patrol. Michael ran ahead to help prepare a wounded soldier for their medical transport when a secondary explosion occurred that took his life.
