Karl Fee was 75 when he passed away. Karl passed away Tuesday evening, June 2nd, with his wife, Lori and daughter Katie by his side. He had a long bout with cancer for the last few years and only went on meds a week ago Sunday. He passed away before he finished his Vietnam saga for us at Socnet. Many tears were shed this week....

Ranger Duncan distinguished himself as a member of the Army’s premier lightinfantry unit, traveled to all corners of the world in support of the Global War on Terrorism, and fought valiantly to "uphold the prestige, honor, and high ‘esprit de corps’ of the Ranger Regiment."

SGT Alessandro Plutino

SGT Alessandro Leonard Plutino from New Jersey, served with 1st Ranger Battalion -

Killed in action in Afghanistan Monday .
Alessandro "Sandrino" Plutino, 28, was in the final weeks of his sixth tour of duty as a U.S. Army Ranger when he was killed by enemy gunfire in Afghanistan while leading his fellow Rangers in an assault.

SPC Bradley Rappuhn

SPC Bradley D. Rappuhn from Mighigan, served with 3rd Ranger Battalion -

Col. Michael Kurilla, commander of the 75th Ranger Regiment, said Rappuhn was fighting in one of the most heavily defended areas in Afghanistan and that he helped in the destruction of a complex bunker system that included heavy machine guns and mortar systems and resulted in the deaths of seven Taliban fighters.
